Frequently asked questions
Search below, or browse the full list. If you don't see your question, reach out and we'll get back to you.
Do you prescribe controlled substances?
No. Verilane only refills non-controlled maintenance medications. We don't prescribe or refill controlled substances, blood thinners, GLP-1 medications, compounded medications, or specialty medications.
Is this a real evaluation, or just a questionnaire?
Every refill is reviewed individually by a board-certified physician. We don't use a questionnaire that auto-approves refills — if something in your history needs a closer look, or a phone or video conversation would serve your care better, your physician will reach out.
Do you take insurance?
No, Verilane is cash-pay. You'll see the exact cost before you start, with no claims, prior authorizations, or surprise bills.
Which pharmacy do you use?
Any pharmacy you choose. We send your prescription electronically to the pharmacy you already use — we never ship medication ourselves or mark up the price.
Is there a limit on how many medications I can refill in one visit?
Not currently. Pricing is $49 for your first medication refill, plus $5 for each additional medication reviewed in the same visit.
How fast will I get my prescription?
Every request gets a genuine clinical review, so turnaround depends on your case. We won't rush a review just to hit a speed target, but most requests move quickly once submitted.
What if I don't qualify for a refill?
Not every request can be approved online. If your physician determines you need an in-person evaluation, additional monitoring, or a different course of care, they'll explain why and what to do next.
Is my information secure?
Yes. Your intake, medical history, and communication with your physician are handled inside our HIPAA-compliant patient platform, separate from this website.
